John started ISky with Don and Mehool in 1999 with an goal of creating freeform, texture-rich music, drawing from a wide sonic palette. His rig began with three keyboards, drum machine and saxophones; the addition of percussionist John Orsi allowed him to distill it down to keyboards and laptop. Recently, he has revisted jazz saxophone which has renewed his interest in more melodic invention.
